The course will explore the life and legacy of John Wesley and investigate the implications of Wesleyan theology on the nature of God, human nature, salvation, sanctification, spiritual growth, church life, worship, and social witness. Participants will explore major tenets of Wesleyan theology, compare and contrast Wesleyan theology with other Christian doctrine, learn and sing Wesley hymns, and consider ways in which a Wesleyan worldview shapes both life and ministry.
Winter 2025 Module
FM History & Polity – Instructor: Supt. Chris Hill
Dates: January 25th (Zoom) & February 21-22, 2025
Tuition: $120 – Audit $90
This course is an exploration of the roots, development, doctrine and structure of the Free Methodist church. Students will gain an understanding of our place in the larger church family and the distinctives of our Wesleyan heritage as expressed in the Free Methodist Church. We will also explore the opportunities for the FMC in a quickly changing culture.

Class begins at 6:00 PM
